Celebrating Employee Appreciation During 2022 Spirit Week

In October 2022, Johnson Lambert hosted its third annual Spirit Week, a five-day employee appreciation program, rooted in our core values. Comprising virtual and in-person events, giveaways and prizes, firmwide activities, and themed contests, this week focused on acknowledging and celebrating the hard work and dedication of our talented staff. Throughout Spirit Week, Johnson Lambert embraced the theme of cherishing memories. Our people shared their favorite Johnson Lambert memories, guided by our core values of agility, trust, and respect. These cherished work moments not only exemplify our intentional workplace culture but also provided our team the opportunity to reflect on some of Johnson Lambert’s finest, funniest, and most heartwarming stories.
Wellness and Wellbeing: Prioritizing Employee Health
During this special week, we emphasized the importance of employee well-being. Our team members shared their favorite self-care activities and relaxation techniques. Johnson Lambert also had the privilege of hosting chiropractor Dr. Meyer from Helping Hands Chiropractic for an interactive “hunch and learn,” during which he shared invaluable advice on maintaining wellness during the workday. Dr. Meyer provided workspace setup guidance, posture-improving stretches, and other tips suitable for office or remote work settings.
Talent Spotlight: Recognizing Teammates’ Skills and Passions
Johnson Lambert employs highly skilled auditors, tax professionals, and consultants – both in and outside of the work engagement. Celebrating the professional talents and extracurricular passions of our team members has allowed our staff to appreciate the many dimensions of their colleagues, form relationships with each other based on common interests, and come together as a firm to root each other on. We celebrated this aspect of our employees by hosting a firmwide talent show, which was recognized as a top event of the year in On24’s “2022 Webinars and Events That Rocked.” With performances ranging from musical skills to unicycling talents, the event was a must-see.
Accolades and Achievements: Celebrating Outstanding Employees
The Johnson Lambert Impact Awards are an annual recognition program based on the firm’s core values of respect, agility, and trust. The goal of the awards is to recognize outstanding employees who embody these values in and outside of work. During the firm’s inaugural Impact Awards ceremony, congratulations were extended to 2022 winners: Regina Lappin, Andrew Cleveland, and Ashley Devolder.
