Johnson Lambert Announces New Leaders in 2025

Johnson Lambert is excited to share that Andrew Cleveland and Kregg Guestin have been named partners, and Regina Lappin has been named chief process officer, effective January 1, 2025.

Andrew Cleveland joined Johnson Lambert as a full-time associate in 2015, after serving as an audit intern. With extensive experience in statutory accounting principles (SAP) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), he has quickly become a trusted advisor in the property & casualty insurance space. As a co-lead of the firm’s corporate governance webinar series, he shares guidance on timely topics such as artificial intelligence, ESG, and other technology advancements. 

In addition to overseeing client engagements and education, Andrew provides strategic leadership in the Georgia office, where he is heavily involved in recruitment and performance management. A member of the AICPA, Georgia Society of CPAs, and Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA), he is committed to professional excellence and community involvement. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Clemson University.


Kregg Guestin started his Johnson Lambert journey in 2015, bringing a few years of tax and accounting experience with him. A leader in the firm’s tax practice, Kregg provides specialized tax compliance and consulting services to commercial and captive insurance companies, alternative risk entities, and affiliated organizations. Known for his collaborative approach, he conducts tax research, prepares consultative memos, and supports clients with complex tax topics. Kregg also plays a leading role in recruiting and training the firm’s tax team, aiming to attract and develop the accounting industry’s most talented professionals. 

Beyond his contributions to our firm, Kregg is actively engaged in the broader insurance industry. He is a frequent participant and speaker at industry conferences, including IASA OnPoint, IASA chapter events, the Tennessee Captive Insurance Association (TCIA) Annual Conference, and the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) Annual Conference. Kregg holds memberships in the AICPA, IASA, NCCIA, and North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) and serves as president of the IASA Carolinas chapter. He was named a 2025 Emerging Leader by the APCIA, and he received his bachelor’s degree from Utica College.


Regina Lappin joined Johnson Lambert in January 2021 as the engagement resources team lead, bringing over 5 years of financial management, cross functional team building, and operational process planning experience with her. Since joining the firm, Regina has overseen the significant expansion of the engagement resources team while also developing procedures and workflows that support client-facing staff throughout the engagement cycle. 

As chief process officer, Regina will drive change management by establishing clear processes, facilitating cross functional communication, and enabling efficient project management. Moreover, she will create and optimize processes, train firm members on these new processes, and define new policies that help achieve firm objectives. Regina is also a member of Johnson Lambert’s lean audit team. She graduated from Saint Xavier University with a bachelor’s degree, and she possesses a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
