Kregg Guestin Named 2025 APCIA Emerging Leader

Kregg has been an integral part of the Johnson Lambert team for nearly a decade. In his current role as a partner, he provides tax compliance and consulting services across a broad spectrum of insurance clients, including commercial insurers, captive insurance entities, and other specialty insurance vehicles. His technical acumen and dedication to client service have been critical to the continued growth and success of our insurance tax practice.

Heavily involved in the insurance industry, Kregg frequently attends and speaks at key conference and events, including IASA OnPoint, IASA chapter events (such as Carolinas, Midwest, and MidSouth chapters), the Tennessee Captive Insurance Association (TCIA) Annual Conference, and the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) Annual Conference. His memberships in the AICPA, IASA, NCCIA, and North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) underscore his commitment to leadership and professional engagement within the industry.

Beyond his client work and thought leadership, Kregg is dedicated to cultivating talent within Johnson Lambert. He actively contributes to recruitment and plays a leading role in mentoring emerging professionals. He regularly volunteers at local food banks, assists with yard cleanups, and supports the Boys & Girls Club of Raleigh—initiatives that strengthen both the local community and our firm culture.
